The Nissan Armada has been the automaker’s champion in the three-row SUV battleground for quite a while. However, Nissan started to get a bit lax with the model and they let things get stale and a bit too same-y with the Infiniti QX80. Nissan has gotten the message and refreshed the Armada for 2025 with brand new styling, a new twin-turbo V-6 engine, and new trims including the off-road focused PRO-X.
We got our first look at the 2025 Nissan Armada back in September and were cautiously optimistic about its prospects. We are impressed with the new styling and excited about the improved driving refinements. The new luxury Platinum Reserve and off-road PRO-X trims are nice sweeteners as well. Now that we’re approaching the release of the new Armada, Nissan has revealed pricing and as expected, the MSRP has gone up across all returning trims.
These aren’t modest price bumps either. On some trims the price has gone up nearly $6,000. Though, we should note the higher price are due in small part to an $155 increase in the destination charge up to $2,010 in 2025 from $1,895 in 2024. We are going to withhold judgement on the higher prices until we spend more time behind the wheel. A price increase isn’t necessarily a bad thing if it’s justified by marked improvements and new features. So, stay tuned for more from us in that respect.
The new prices also put it closer to its competitors like the Jeep Wagoneer, Chevrolet Tahoe, Ford Expedition, and the Toyota Sequoia. Though the Sequoia remains the most expensive of the group. Nissan will have its work cut out for it to make a value case against the likes of the Tahoe and we can’t wait to see how it stacks up.
